The Pocono Garden Club will learn about Designing an Indoor Dish Garden when it meets at 1 p.m. on March 10 at the Monroe County Conservation District, 8050 Running Valley Road, Bartonsville.
Judy Henry from the Potting Shed in Stroudsburg will present the indoor dish garden program. She also will bring a selection of houseplants to sell.
A general meeting will be held also.
The design entry for March is “A Mardi Gras Scene,” an inverted T-style accessorized with a mask, beads or similar festive items.
The horticulture entry should be a forced flowering branch, such as a forsythia, quince, pussy willow or witch hazel.
Submit one stem, not to exceed 24 inches, sized in proportion to its clear container.
The houseplant entry should be an orchid in bloom or any succulent.
Please try to car pool, because parking is at a minimum.
