A 34-year-old Lehighton man is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 9:40 a.m. Feb. 23, state police at the Hazleton barracks said.

The man was stopped in a 2012 Volkswagen Passat in the 400 block of Susquehanna Boulevard in Hazle Township for multiple Motor Vehicle Code violations and then taken into custody for having illegal drugs in his possession, according to police.
