Eldred Township supervisors

Eldred Township supervisors recently conducted the following business:

• The township received $10,437 through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Grant for road signs on Point Phillips Road.

• Hired Andrew Stallings as a full-time employee in Public Works.

• Purchase of a Quick-Connect Snow Plow Hitch Conversion for $6,193. The township budgeted $10,000 for it.

• Purchased a Misco Digital Solometer for $495 to make brine and two Govee Wi-Fi Thermos Hygrometers for the municipal building and three for the Eldred Township Community Center for $79.95 each, a total of $399.75; Otterbox Defender case for Public Works cellphone, $79.99, and a Strongway 35-ton Quick-lift air/hydraulic service floor jack, $649.99.

• Preventive maintenance agreement with Winter Engine Generator Service Inc., $1,570.

• Attendance of the PSATS conference in April for supervisors Scott Clark and Jessica Keller, Public Works Supervisor Jonathan Gula, and township treasurer David Anderson, $849; cost of hotel rooms to be determined.

• Continued bathroom renovations at the community center, cost of $10,000 or less.

• Bathroom renovations at the municipal building, cost of $4,000 or less.

• A new cellphone for the Public Works supervisor for $36 for the phone/upgrade.

• Uline purchase, $447.29, and Amazon purchase, $401.28, for office supplies.
