The Township donated $649 to the sheriffs office Deputy Phil campaign. This is a school program that teaches kids safety. The money will be used to advertise in the documents the students receive.

The plan identifies risks and reduces the long term impact of natural and human caused hazards.

Norm Burger will be there to talk about his new book, “One Room Schools: History and Memorabilia of Monroe County’s West End and Adjacent Townships.” The book will be available for pre-order, with all proceeds going toward the renovation of the Merwinsburg School and planning future events.

A sensory Easter egg hunt will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on March 29. Registration is required. The traditional Easter egg hunt will occur at 2 p.m. on March 29. Both events are rain or shine at the township park.
