State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:

• Jarrett W. Berger, 28, of Slatington, was uninjured in a crash at 8:11 a.m. Feb. 28 on Route 209 in Mahoning Township.

Police said he was driving a 2019 GMC Sierra.

They said the crash occurred when the vehicle swerved to avoid a potential crash ahead, resulting in it striking a rock wall.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

• Christine M. Depierro-Gacek, 43, of Glastonbury, had possible injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 2:50 p.m. Feb. 28 on Mill Road in Mahoning Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Association to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Carbon Campus, Mahoning Township.

They said she was driving a 2024 Mazda northbound when she came to an abrupt stop and attempted to turn left onto a property without using a turn signal. They said a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Joseph D. Mongi, 41, of Lehighton, was traveling behind the Mazda and struck it. The Mazda was towed from the scene.

Police said Depierro-Gacek was cited for turning without required signals, while Mongi was cited for leaving the roadway.
