State police at Fogelsville - crashes

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following accidents:

• Scott P. Burke, 57, of New Tripoli, was cited for a stop sign violation after a two-vehicle crash at 3:51 p.m. Feb. 25 at the intersection of Holbens Valley and Werleys Corner roads, Weisenberg Township. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Express northbound when he attempted to travel through the intersection and the vehicle struck a 2020 Ford Escape driven westbound on Holbens Valley Road by Robin C. Billig, 64, of New Tripoli.

Police said both vehicles had disabling damage.

• Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at 6:11 p.m. Feb. 19 at the intersection of Route 100 and Lowhill Church Road, Lowhill Township. No one was injured in the incident.

They said a white SUV traveling south on Route 100 sideswiped a 2025 Lexus that was driven by Gabrielle H. Pearson, 22, of Germansville. The Lexus had functional damage and was driven from the scene.
