The Tamaqua Community Partnership is hosting an open house for its newest initiative, the Tamaqua Financial Opportunity Center.
The event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at 20 Mauch Chunk St., Tamaqua.
Community members, local leaders and partner organizations are invited to attend and learn more about the services designed to help individuals and families achieve financial stability and long-term economic mobility.
The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours, opportunities to meet staff and partners and light refreshments. Remarks will be shared by organizational leadership and invited guests.
The center provides free integrated services focused on financial coaching, employment and career advancement support, income growth strategies, digital skills development and savings and asset-building initiatives.
“Our goal is to empower individuals and families in our community with the tools, knowledge and support they need to build lasting financial security,” said director Rich Stianche. “This ribbon cutting represents not just the opening of a space, but the beginning of expanded opportunities for the people we serve.”
The open house offers community members the chance to see how the financial center’s model works and how residents can access services.
