State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following accidents:

• Police responded to a hit-and run at 10:37 a.m. Jan. 7 on Interstate 78 in Allentown

They said a vehicle traveling east hit the back of a 2015 Kia Optima driven by Marcus A. Stewart, 33, of Tamaqua, after traffic began to slow on the interstate. Police said the striking vehicle continued eastbound without stopping or providing information to Stewart, who was uninjured in the incident.

The Optima had minor damage to its left side rear bumper area.

• Alexander D. Graff, 25, of Kempton, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 12:27 p.m. Feb. 9 on Decatur Street, Lynn Township. He was uninjured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2007 Toyota Tacoma westbound when it slid off the road and traveled down an embankment, where it struck a wall at a property at 7193 Decatur St. After striking the wall, the Tacoma turned onto its right side and tipped into the porch of the property.
