Carbon cat shelter to hold open house Saturday

Carbon County Friends of Animals, 77 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe, will hold an Open House from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The shelter will offer tours of the facility and a chance to meet the cats and kittens looking for their furever homes. There will also be refreshments. Everyone who attends will receive a free raffle ticket for a “Pot of Lottery Tickets.”

Anyone who brings an item from their wish list will be entered in a raffle for a door prize. They will also feature a scavenger hunt, photo props with the kittens, and lots of fun for everyone.

For information and to see their wish list, visit CCFOA.info.

CCFOA’s mission is to offer shelter, care, and compassion to cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or mistreated, giving them a second chance at finding loving homes.
