Weatherly auxiliary helping veterans

The Weatherly American Legion Auxiliary received more than 50 sweatshirts, 20 pairs of pants and 100 backpacks donated from AVP1 Amazon to aid homeless veterans.

The clothing and backpacks were delivered to the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center to help veterans receiving treatment at the facility, auxiliary members said.
