A Schuylkill Haven man died in a two-vehicle crash at 11:29 a.m. Feb. 23 on Route 895 in Auburn.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said Wayne F. Haller, 61, died at the Geisinger-St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg, after having been transported there by personnel from the Auburn Fire Company Ambulance Service.

Police said he was driving a 1995 Chevrolet eastbound when the vehicle left its lane of travel and struck a legally-parked 2023 Ford Transit on the west shoulder of the road. The Chevrolet continued east and struck a utility pole.

Police said Haller was unresponsive upon their arrival.
