Based on information available from various weather forecasting services, the Eldred Township Board of Supervisors extended the Declaration of Local Disaster Emergency through Monday, March 2.

The declaration was set to expire Feb. 23 before the supervisors extended it two days earlier. It had originally been implemented on Jan. 23 in anticipation of the significant snowstorm.
