Lenten services have been set for the New Ringgold area, which includes churches in the Lewistown Valley. All services will be held at 7:30 p.m. beginning with hymn sings at 7:15 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

The schedule is:

Wednesday — Zion Church in Lewistown Valley.

March 4 — Friedens Lutheran Church, New Ringgold.

March 11 — Congregational Free Church of Christ, McKeansburg.

March 18 — Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Drehersville.

March 25 — Calvary Evangelical United Methodist, Lewistown Valley.

April 2 — Maundy Thursday — Steigerwalt’s Church of God, McKeansburg.

April 3, Good Friday — Zion United Methodist Church, New Ringgold, at 1:30 p.m., and Christ Church, McKeansburg, at 7 p.m.

April 5, Easter Sunrise — Lewistown Valley Tabernacle at 6:30 a.m.

A National Day of Prayer service will be held May 7 at Steigerwalt’s Church of God, and an Ascension Day service will be held May 14 at Christ Church in McKeansburg.
