Franklin Township supervisors took the following action on Tuesday:

• Hired Parker Green as part-time road crew at the rate of $17 per hour.

• Approved having the township secretary draft a letterhead for the Paul and David Snyder Tree Farm on Route 209 parcels.

• Approved Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club to use Phifer’s Fishing Pond for a fishing tournament on May 23.

• Approved the use of the upper pond for 30 days beginning May 1 at 12 a.m. (midnight) through June 1 at 12 p.m. (noon), and restrict fishing at the dams during this period to children younger than 16 years of age only.

• Approved the Franklin Township Athletic Association’s request to hold 2026 monthly meetings at the township administrative office on the third Sunday of each month.

• Approved Cady Guy, Elizabeth Grodis and Troy Williams to attend the PSATS conference in Hershey on April 20.
