Austin Donton, 30, of Tamaqua, was cited for harassment following an incident at noon on Dec. 18 at a property on Airport Road, Pine Grove Township, police said.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said they responded to a complaint from a 56-year-old Pine Grove woman and discovered that Donton had contacted PPL Electric Utilities and had the power shut off at his former residence.

They said he is estranged from the family that resides there.

Police, after speaking with utility company employees, said they learned that Donton had gained access to the account and called PPL to turn off the power.
