One woman was injured Thursday evening in a crash in West Penn Township.

The incident occurred just after 5 p.m. along Route 443 just east of the intersection with Archery Club Road.

Reports indicate the woman was traveling east and lost control entering the right berm.

She was treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance and Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital.

West Penn Township police are investigating the incident.
