Walnutport Borough Council took the following action recently:

• Granted permission to the Lehigh River Stocking Association to stock the river from the north tow path;

• Agreed to send the delinquent per capita taxes (base, $3,200, penalty, $320) to collection;

• Agreed to send the delinquent real estate taxes (base, $23,613, penalty, $2,361) to collection;

• Approved handicapped parking spot requests to 123 New St., 303 New St., and 317 New St. Councilwoman Jennifer Wentz abstained from voting on 123 New St., and;

• Agreed to exempt 202 N. Lincoln Ave. from garbage.
