State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Dakota Paisley, 28, of Tamaqua, is facing drug possession charges after police responded to an incident at 4:40 a.m. on Jan. 26 at the intersection of Route 209 and Catawissa Street in Schuylkill Township.

Police said they were called to the scene to check on the welfare of a man reported to have been sleeping inside a 2008 Subaru Outback while it was stopped in the roadway. They said they found Paisley had a small amount of marijuana, a metal pipe used for smoking marijuana and a clear glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine.

• Police are investigating an alleged indecent assault at the State Correctional Institute at Frackville, Altamont Avenue, Ryan Township.

It was reported to have occurred on Aug. 30, 2025. The victim was listed as a 23-year-old man.

Police said the investigation is being done in accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act.
