Brayden A. Lutz, 22, of Lehighton, and John J. Feher IV, 29, of Slatington, were involved in a two-vehicle crash at 6:41 a.m. on Feb. 16 on Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township, police said.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said that Lutz had injuries to his left arm/wrist/hand but refused a medical services transport from the scene, while Feher reported neck and back pain and told police that he would seek medical attention on his own.

Police said the crash occurred as Lutz was driving a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta east and was traveling too fast for snow-covered roadway conditions when it hit the back of a 2022 Ram 1500 driven by Feher, who had slowed down in anticipation of turning into a private drive.

Police said the Jetta had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
