Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tamaqua will host its first Blessings thrift sale of the year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 6.

The event marks a special milestone — the 50th Blessings Sale — a ministry that began shortly before the pandemic and has continued to serve the community with great success.

Shoppers will find gently used clothing for all ages, along with toys, books and a wide variety of household items. A limited takeout menu and homemade baked goods will be available for purchase. Major credit cards are accepted.

Those wishing to donate items to Blessings are asked to call the church office at 570-668-2180 with their information and a volunteer will return the call.

Blessings is an outreach ministry of the church at the corner of Greenwood and Mauch Chunk streets.
