State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• More than $24,000 in equipment was stolen in an incident reported at 10:57 a.m. Jan. 20 on Main Street, Washington Township.

Police said the victim is Verizon Wireless.

They said unknown suspects damaged various phone cables by cutting and stealing sections of phoneline cables. Police said a window of time for the theft has not been determined as the business just began receiving customer reports involving their service being affected.

Police said the reported estimated damage is listed at $24,112.50, but they said the amount is expected to increase as the business continues to receive reports.

• Michelle Malloy, 48, of Slatington, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Dollar General Store, Washington Township, at 1:20 p.m. Feb. 3.

Police said she was caught stealing merchandise worth $30.70.

• A 21-year-old man from Bowmanstown was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Target store in Hanover Township at 11:51 a.m. Feb. 4.

Police said he was caught stealing a WWE figurine worth $22.99 and a 5 Nights at Freddy’s figurine worth $19.98.

• Madison Lutsko, 21, of Nesquehoning, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped her in a 2016 Jeep at 3:34 a.m. Jan. 31.

She was stopped at 8466 Airport Road, East Allentown Township, after police responded to a suspicious vehicles report.
