I just read your article today in the Times-News with the title, as above. I would like to comment.
I have been a board member for over thirty years in Weatherly through thick and thin … These people who run for office and then resign in less than a month due to “exhaustion” due to unprofessional behavior are not built to be an elected official.
It takes commitment to stay on even in the worst of public scrutiny — Krawchuck-Boschen apparently does not have it. I do not know her, but would guess she is a leafy-leaning liberal either thin skin where everything in her world is just “perfect.”
Well, welcome to the real world of politics!
I hope the PASD finds the right people who can weather these routine storms soon. I commend those who remain through the storms as well as the few accolades.
By the way, this is a great example to advocate for the elimination of party cross-filing for school boards in this Commonwealth. Require all candidates to reveal their political affiliation at the polls.
The reality of it is there are opposing mindsets in the public school system — liberal and conservative.
Democrats are typically the “liberals” and Republicans are typically (not enough in my opinion …) more conservative.
I would like to end cross-filing! I do not speak for any of my board colleagues here.
