• A 17-year-old girl from Slatington was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 8:56 p.m. Jan. 28 on Route 873 in Washington Township.
Police said she was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Blazer northbound and was traveling too fast for conditions when the crash occurred.
They said she had minor injuries and requested an emergency medical services transport to an area hospital for an evaluation.
• Jolene B. Styer, 44, of Lehighton, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 1:42 a.m. Jan. 24 on Route 873 in Washington Township.
Police said she was driving a 2014 Ford Focus northbound when a deer entered the roadway. The car hit the deer and came to rest on the right side of the road. It was towed from the scene.
• Myrisa L. Kael, 32, of Lehighton, was uninjured in a one-vehicle mishap at 1:09 p.m. Jan. 20 on Rising Sun Road, North Whitehall Township.
Police said she was driving a 2008 Smart fortwo when the roadway was snow-covered. They said the car began to drift onto the right shoulder, where it sideswiped a utility pole. It continued and hit a second utility pole.
• Police were called to a hit-and-run at 8:49 a.m. Jan. 27 on Airport Road, Hanover Township.
They said an unknown vehicle struck the back of a 2022 Mazda operated by Taryn E. Ummarino, 19, of Walnutport, and fled the scene.
The Mazda had functional damage after the crash.
