Record-setting performances highlighted the Schuylkill League meet as Tamaqua and Marian swimmers brought home a haul of gold medals. Tamaqua medalists pictured are (front, left to right) Savannah Wilson, Ava Jones, Brandon Temarantz and Shaylee Gormley, and (back, L-R) Kate Behun, Janna Brown, Audrey Nattress and Lyla Clemson. Gormley captured four gold medals, including wins in the 50 freestyle (25.22) and 100 freestyle (55.90), while Wilson broke the meet record in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.31) and earned three golds overall. Marian’s Lydia Strucko, middle, won gold in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly, while Michael Strucko set meet and pool records in the 100 backstroke (50.81) and also won the 50 freestyle (21.89).
