State police at Lehighton - crashes

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:

• A 17-year-old Effort girl was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:17 p.m. Jan. 31 on Jonas Road, Polk Township.

Police said she was driving a 2025 Toyota Camry westbound when she lost control of it. The car crossed over the double yellow lines and left lane onto the shoulder of the road and hit a snowbank. The car was towed from the scene.

• Dina L. Catletti, 43, of Bethlehem, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 3:55 p.m. Jan. 26 on Route 249 in Lower Towamensing Township. She was uninjured in the incident.

Police said she was driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma westbound when it struck the concrete divider and then a snowbank on the right side of the road. The pickup came to rest on its roof. It was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 9 p.m. Jan. 26 on Blue Mountain Drive, Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Bradlyn M. Martin, 25, of Lebanon, was driving a 2017 Audi southbound when it entered the northbound lane and sideswiped a 2016 Dodge Journey operated by a 17-year-old boy from Hellertown before continuing and hitting a snowbank. Police said the Audi was towed from the scene.

Martin was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Police responded to a hit-and-run at 9:53 p.m. Jan. 18 on Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township.

They said a vehicle traveling east sideswiped a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze that was parked on the right shoulder of the road and then left the scene. The Cruze had damage to its driver’s side rear tire.
