State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 45-year-old Lehighton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 1:38 a.m. Jan. 24.

He was stopped in a 2015 Kia Sorento for Title 75 violations on Interchange Road, Franklin Township.

Police said they also found him to be in possession of a used marijuana pipe.

• A woman is facing resisting arrest charges after police responded to a domestic dispute at 3:08 a.m. Jan. 25 on East Bertsch Street, Lansford.

Police said they arrested three people, who were not identified, in the incident: a 38-year-old woman, a 23-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man, all from Lansford.

They said one of the women was the complainant. Police learned there was an active warrant out for her arrest for violation of a court order. The said she resisted arrest upon the arrival of police.

• A 42-year-old Lansford woman was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to an incident at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 30.

It happened on East Abbott Street, Lansford.

• Police were called to a theft of a motor vehicle report at 7:51 p.m. Nov. 26 on Vista Drive, Ross Township.

A 32-year-old Saylorsburg man told them someone stole a 2008 Mazda 5 from his front yard. The vehicle was a “scrap” vehicle with no engine nor transmission in it, police said.
