Last week’s major snowfall caused all kinds of travel woes and cleanup issues, but turned the hills of Walker Township into sleigh riding paradise. Leiby’s Carriage Service, Valley Road, was busy Saturday and Sunday hosting visitors from a wide region who braved arctic air to enjoy the excitement of horse-drawn sleigh rides. According to coordinator Marisa Marmas, “They came from as far as Cherry Hill, New Jersey. One woman said ‘This has been on my bucket list for a long time,’ ” she said.
