Raul Maldonado Rivera, 72, died Jan. 18, 2026. Born on May 6, 1953, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Raul Maldonado and Dimas Rivera. He was married to Dolores (Tunstall) Maldonado for 54 years.

He spent many years working as a landscaper, where he took great pride in his craft and found joy in creating beautiful spaces.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children; Raul Maldonado Jr. (Desiree), Candy Maldonado (Jorge), and Theresa Maldonado (Tyler) and grandchildren; Cynthia, Mikey, Milani, Tyler, Koi, Joshua, Evangeline, Maximus, Natalia and Kylo and brothers Jorge, Jose and Jesus. He was predeceased by granddaughter Alexia, and sister Margaret.
