State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following crashes:

• Bernard S. Gustis, 83, of New Ringgold, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 1:02 p.m. on Jan. 23 on Bear Creek Drive, East Brunswick Township.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Penn-Mahoning Ambulance to the Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg.

They said he was driving a 2009 Toyota southbound when he lost control of it and the vehicle left the roadway and struck a steep embankment, rolling onto its passenger side.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. Gustus was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Patricia N. Modolo, 30, of Staten Island, New York, was injured in a crash at 3:46 p.m. on Jan. 21 on Route 54 in Ryan Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Ryan Township Emergency and Rescue Squad to the St. Luke’s Miners Campus, Coaldale.

They said she was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox eastbound when it traveled off the right side of the road and struck a fence.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. Police said Modolo was cited after the crash.
