State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 45-year-old New Tripoli man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 11:18 p.m. Jan. 23.
He was stopped in a 2024 Jeep Cherokee on Carpet Road, Lowhill Township.
Police said he was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center to be processed.
• A 40-year-old man from New Tripoli is the victim of a theft complaint police received at their barracks at 9:35 a.m. Dec. 12.
He told police he suspected fraudulent activity on his stock account in which stocks valued at $20,598.32 were stolen through Robinhood.
• A 64-year-old woman from New Tripoli is the victim of a theft that was reported to police as having occurred at 2:46 a.m. Dec. 2.
She told police her SNAP benefits card information was compromised and used at the Sunrise Deli, Brooklyn, New York, for two fraudulent transactions totaling $301.09.
