The 13th annual Marian Catholic High School “Be Cool for Our School” Polar Plunge at Mauch Chunk Lake has been rescheduled from this Saturday to Feb. 7 because of wind chills below zero in the forecast.

Registration is from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with the first jump at noon. The fee includes an event T-shirt to commemorate the plunge.

You can also register as a chicken to get your shirt and support the school, but stay dry.

Costumes are encouraged, and a prize will be given for best costume.

Heated changing rooms are provided.
