Sens. Jarrett Coleman, R-16, and Sen. Nick Miller, D-14, announced that the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority was awarded a $1.3 million state grant for the construction of a new parking garage connected to the Lehigh Valley International Airport.

The funding was administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority.

“The Lehigh Valley International Airport is a major gateway to Pennsylvania, and the new parking garage is one more way the airport is preparing for continued growth,” Coleman said.

“Today’s regional announcement invests more than one million dollars in a new parking garage directly connected to Lehigh Valley International Airport,” said Miller. “The airport has seen record-breaking numbers of passengers in the past two years, and this project will expand capacity, improve convenience for travelers.”
