Summit Hill officials have announced special parking instructions ahead of the upcoming weekend snowstorm.

The borough public works department posted on its Facebook page that due to the forecast, residents who live in an alley — Ridge Street, Iron Street, Park Avenue, Summit Avenue, Berea Avenue, McMurturie Street, School Street, Carbon Avenue, Union Street, Richards Avenue, and Mill Street — should have all cars removed by Saturday evening for the duration of the snow event to allow the clearing of those streets.

In the event that a snow emergency is called, the public works posted that parking areas will be cleared for residents to move cars to after the storm ends.

Those locations will be the cemetery, Community Center parking lot, St. Joseph’s church lot, Market Street by the Ginder Field and the Summit Hill Legion lot.
