State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 54-year-old Reeders man is facing drug possession charges after police made a traffic stop at 1:06 a.m. Jan. 17.

He was stopped in a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee for multiple Motor Vehicle Code violations on Route 611 in Pocono Township, after which police found him to be in possession of drugs.

• A 44-year-old woman from Philadelphia is the victim of an assault incident reported at 2:17 a.m. Jan. 3 on Markham Way, Penn Forest Township.

She told police she was sleeping in a bedroom when a man entered the room in an intoxicated state and struck her multiple times in the face, causing facial injuries.
