A customer who threw hot liquid at a Walnutport McDonald’s employee has been nabbed and now finds himself in some hot water.
Originally, the Walnutport Police Department posted on its Facebook page Tuesday that it was looking for assistance in identifying the man who took the lid off a cup of hot tea and threw it at the young female working at the McDonald’s drive-thru window.
The incident resulted in the employee having to seek medical attention, the police department posted.
As of Tuesday evening, the police department updated its post to thank everyone who called and messaged them with the identity of the man.
“Because of your assistance, we were able to positively identify the male,” the post states. “The incident is still being investigated, and the suspect remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
Walnutport Police Department had posted a photo and asked anyone who could identify the man to contact them.
