A fundraiser to help raise proceeds for the Lehighton Fire Department is on tap.

Five Alarm Cash Bingo will be held Saturday at the Orioles Community Center.

Doors open at noon. Bingo starts at 2 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance for $25 or $30 at the door.

Extra games/bingo boards will be available for purchase as well as Bingo Daubers. There will also be 50/50 as well.

The event will feature 20 regular bingo games and five special games. Regular games will pay out $50 and each special game will pay out $100. There will be food, drink and baked goods for sale. The event is BYOB.

Tiffany Snyder, vice president of the District 5 Auxiliary, explained the significance of the event.

“It is important for people to support the Lehighton Fire Department and the Auxiliary’s fundraising efforts because it allows the firefighters to focus on the trainings and calls that they are faced with while not having to worry about raising funds for equipment and maintenance,” Snyder said.
