MVS announces opening schedule

Mahoning Valley Speedway is set to usher in a new chapter for the 2026 season as new promoter Bill Osborn takes the reins, leasing the facility from the Carlino family. With preparations already underway, the Lehighton oval has released its upcoming racing schedule and launched a new official website, signaling an energized approach heading into the new year.

All divisions that competed during the 2025 season are set to return, with rule changes aimed at strengthening the fields and drawing new cars to the facility. The schedule will feature three appearances by the Race of Champions Tour, along with special events throughout the year such as Pocono Raceway Night and a Christmas in July Kids Night.

Drivers will have the opportunity to meet the new promoter during a scheduled drivers meeting on Sunday, Jan. 25. Competitors will also be able to purchase pit spots for the season, offering an early chance to prepare for the months ahead.

Ahead of the opening green flag, a spring clean-up is planned for March 21 and 22, inviting racers, crew members, and fans to help prepare the facility for the season. The effort reflects a renewed sense of pride and community involvement as the speedway moves forward under new leadership, setting the stage for a competitive and exciting season.

The early schedule follows below:

March 21: Spring Clean Up
