At about 11:07 p.m., Saturday emergency units were dispatched for a vehicle down an embankment off Flagstaff Road. Jim Thorpe Fire Department responded, and upon arrival, crews assessed the scene and began to extricate the people from the vehicle. Once they were removed and transferred to emergency medical services, crews began working on removing the vehicle from the embankment so that the tow company would have safe access.
