Monroe County commissioners

The Monroe County commissioners approved several items last week:

• Amend motion 2025-306 revising the Janitorial Supplies Bid Award increasing W.B. Mason to $49,349.19 and decreasing Brighter Days & Nights to $70,738.82.

• Area Agency on Aging — Todd Martin, Evelyn Mungin and Leanna Rich were reappointed to the Advisory Council with a new term to expire on Dec. 31, 2028.

• Assessment — Ratify agreement with Just Appraised Software as a Service in the amount of $38,960 from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 for property data automation services.

• Carbon-Monroe-Pike Drug & Alcohol Commission — Professional services agreement for 40 hours a week of case management services by a drug and alcohol treatment specialist to conduct assessments from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 for $91,834, to be paid in 12 equal monthly installments.

• Professional Services Agreement for an additional eight hours every other week of case management services by a drug and alcohol treatment specialist to conduct assessments at the Monroe County Pre-Trial Services Office from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 for $11,965, to be paid over 12 equal monthly installments; execute a Professional Services Agreement for drug and alcohol treatment services, as well as case management services to inmates at the Monroe County Correctional Facility from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 for $91,282, to be paid over 12 equal monthly payments of $7,606.8.

* Professional Services Agreement to provide services through its drug and alcohol recovery support specialist to lead local opioid remediation efforts from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 for $83,385 to be paid in 12 equal monthly installments of $6,948.75, to be paid from the Opioid Settlement Funds.

• Agreement with KUDU creative for Fentanyl Awareness Program for $296,529.30 to be paid from the Opioid Settlement Funds from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31.

• Contract Service Provider Agreements with the following attorneys — Janet Catina, Protection From Abuse defense advocate, $30,000; Deborah L. Huffman, PFA plaintiff advocate, $30,000; and Janet Catina, Brian Gaglione, Donald Leeth and Robert A. Saurman, special public defenders, $57,000.

• District Attorney — Contract Service Provider Agreement with attorney E. David Christine as district attorney emeritus/mentor from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 for $10,000; and agreement with Magnet Forensics for software license from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 for $4,620.
