Palmerton Area School District’s board of directors approved the following items Tuesday:

• Annette Trittenbach as a district social worker at a prorated annual salary of $61,000.

• The retirement of Kelly Heinrich, a high school building secretary, effective Aug. 4, 2026.

• Set the annual salary for high school building secretary Amanda Lentz as $37,153, effective Dec. 15, 2025.

• Thomas McElhinny as the spring drama adviser, with a $1,818 stipend.

• The resignations of Lisa Maderic (Mock Trial) and William Marks II (Spring Drama).

• Mary Beth Zulic as a winter event worker at a rate of $30 per event.

• A service agreement with Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 for PIMS training through June 2026.

• Ryan Kish to attend the PASA New Superintendents’ Academy in Harrisburg this month at an estimated cost of $756.

• Demi Rohlfing received approval to attend the “PDE Making a Difference” conference in Hershey in February.

• Members of the PMEA District 10 Band to attend a performance event at Twin Valley High School from Feb. 5-7.
