Monroe County incidents

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 44-year-old man from Emmaus is facing charges after a victim went to the police barracks at 2:05 p.m. Jan. 9 to report a crime.

A 72-year-old man from Stroudsburg reported a burglary at a residence on Manor Drive, Hamilton Township, which led to the arrest of the Emmaus man on charges of burglary, terroristic threats, criminal trespass and harassment.

Police said the suspect was being held in the Lehigh County Prison, Allentown, on charges relating to a Protection From Abuse court order violation. They said the charges were approved and a warrant was faxed to the jail.

• A 61-year-old Saylorsburg woman is the victim of a theft incident police were called to at 11:06 a.m. Dec. 8 on William Penn Street, Hamilton Township.

She told police that $22,000 had been stolen from her in credit card transactions.
