State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:
• Joseph D. Savoia, 56, of Saylorsburg, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a one-vehicle crash at 7:16 p.m. Dec. 26 on Point Phillips Road, Eldred Township.
Police said he had suspected minor injuries after the crash but refused a medical services transport from the scene.
Police said he was driving a 2021 Nissan Frontier northbound when it traveled off the road and came to an uncontrolled rest against a tree.
Police said Savoia fled the scene but was found nearby.
• Gary K. Lentz, 61, of Walnutport, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 9:39 a.m. Dec. 23 on the Kunkletown Road in Ross Township. He was uninjured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2022 Toyota Tacoma southbound when he lost control of it and the pickup hit a tree on the east berm. It had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
• Ariel S. Johnson, 21, of Birdsboro, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:59 a.m. Dec. 23 on the Route 248 exit ramp in East Penn Township.
Police said she lost control of her 2011 Subaru Impreza on the slush and snow-covered highway. It hit a guide rail. The car was towed from the scene.
