State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle incident they were called to at 8:40 p.m. Jan. 7 on State Road, Ryan Township.

They said they were initially dispatched to the are for a report of a male wearing all black clothing looking through and entering parked vehicles. Police said the suspect was found a short time later on Foothill Street and was identified as a juvenile. They said reports indicated he stole money from inside at least one vehicle.

Police are asking anyone with video surveillance along State and Ball Diamond roads and the immediate area, or anyone who determined their vehicles were entered or had items taken from them, to contact police at 570-874-5300.

• A 14-year-old girl from Freeland was arrested on drug possession charges at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 9 at Catawissa and Orwigsburg streets, Tamaqua.

Police said the charges will be filed through the Schuylkill County Juvenile Justice Department.
