Tamaqua police charged Travis Jackowski, 30, Tamaqua, with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct following an early Jan. 11 incident on the 400 block of East Elm Street.

Police were called to the location at 3:30 a.m. for a report of a domestic incident by a man who said he could hear his neighbors screaming. When officers arrived, Jackowski was sitting on the sidewalk and yelling at the neighbor.

Police said Jackowski had trouble returning to his feet, had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. He was taken into custody and cited.
