Lane restrictions are in effect on a stretch of Route 209 in Jim Thorpe Borough and Mahoning Township. The project includes repairs to an existing retaining wall along the highway. The northbound passing lane will be closed until Oct. 1 and restrictions are expected to return next year. The overall project is expected to be completed in September 2027.
