Ahner reelected to chair Polk Township supervisors
The following positions were announced at Polk Township’s January reorganization meeting:
Brian K. Ahner will lead the board of supervisors, with Michael Hurley as vice chairman. Ahner will serve as roadmaster.
Rebecca L. Tippett is secretary to the board and Pamela Thompson is treasurer.
Tracy L. Herman is the zoning officer.
Teamsters Local 773 employees:
• Harold Touni, David Novajovsky, William C. Tippett, Troy Meckes and Derrick Burger, full-time road crew.
• Thomas Longyhore, full-time road crew/recycle and solid waste center, with Gilbert Blaine Borger, part-time recycle and solid waste center.
Other appointments:
• Vacancy Board chairman: Gary Bruch.
• Zoning Hearing Board: Thomas Milewski, Robert Serfass and Michael Lalli. Alternate: Dwight Christman.
• Park & Recreation Board: Robert Butler, Greg Mackes, Nancy Wright, Latasha Anthony and Janet Dooner.
