Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown), holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

ABC Food Pantry: Donations of canned goods and nonperishable food items can now be dropped off in the church lobby.

Jerusalem UCC

Jerusalem UCC, 545 Church Drive, Palmerton (Trachsville), holds worship services at 10 a.m. every Sunday in the church sanctuary. The Rev. Marian Johnson officiates.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Palmerton, holds worship service every Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m.

The church has also announced the following upcoming events:

Meat pie sale: Order pickup is from noon-2 p.m. on Jan. 19.

Gift card bingo: A bingo will be held on Feb. 15 at Aquashicola Fire Co., 270 Little Gap Road, Palmerton. All proceeds will benefit four local charities: Paul’s Valor House, Palmerton Food Pantry, Carbon County Animal Shelter and Palmerton Cat Project. Presale tickets are available until Feb. 10. Bring an item to donate to any of the charitable organizations and receive a free special game sheet. Doors open at 11 a.m. and bingo starts at 1 p.m. For tickets, call the church office at 610-681-5200.
