Shawn Robertson Jr., 35, of Sharon Hill, and Rafae Corrales Gonzalez, 53, of Chester, were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:11 p.m. Jan. 4 on Interchange Road, Polk Township, police said.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said the men were transported by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg.

The crash occurred when Robertson was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze with Corrales Gonzalez as his passenger, according to police.

They said the car was northbound when Robertson became distracted looking at his GPS, at which time the car left the road.

Robertson attempted to counter-steer the car, police said, but lost control and it overturned in a creek, sustaining disabling damage.

He was cited for driving without a license, according to police.
