Two attorneys were inducted into the Carbon County Bar Association during an impressive session held in the Courthouse, Jim Thorpe. The Hon. John P. Lavelle presided.

Inducted were Attorney Christie E. Schaffer, 402 Third St., Lehighton, and Attorney David W. Addy, 22 Dallas Road, Willow Grove.

Attorney William Schwab, Lehighton, petitioned for the introduction of Atty. Schaeffer while Attorney Jean Engler, Jim Thorpe, moved to have Attorney Addy installed.

Carl H. Schaffer, Hazleton, held the family Bible for his daughter’s oath of office while Attorney Engler accompanied Attorney Addy.

Miss Schaeffer is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Law while Addy attained his juris doctorate degree from the Villanova University School of Law.
