The Carbon County Planning Commission made recommendations or discussed the following land development or subdivision plans during their December meeting:

• James and Cynthia Anne Gorman received conditional plan approval for a proposed lot line consolidation at 119 Ginsburg Circle, Towamensing Trails, Section V, Penn Forest Township. The plans call for combining two tax parcels to create a new 0.910-acre lot.

• DoubleDD Poconos LLC and Blue Ridge Real Estate received plan approval for a proposed subdivision and lot line adjustment on the east side of Jack Frost Ski Area along Tobyhanna Creek, Kidder Township. The plans call for cutting out 16.80 acres of a 308.39-acre area owned by Blue Ridge Real Estate, consisting of four lots, and giving that new 16.80-acre lot to DoubleDD Poconos LLC. It is an existing buffer easement track along the creek that is currently used by DoubleDD Poconos.

• Troy L. and Diana L. Muffley proposed a minor subdivision at 422 White St., Bowmanstown, creating three lots out of a 0.4542-acre parcel. The commission’s review will be sent to Bowmanstown Planning Commission, council and the applicant and their engineers for further discussion before any recommendation is made.
